Hello fellow gamers,

I'm glad that you're here, and that you're reading our first post!

What can you expect here? Well, we'll make sure to publish anything interesting that we run into while developing our games. Any problems, new ideas, discussions, or disagreements, as well as pictures, characters and other "important" things will be posted here.

The idea is to include you, community, into our games. Your ideas and feedback is greatly appreciated. This is why we urge you to let us know of your thoughts on us and our games.

After small introductory post in our blog page, it's time to write a short summary of what's behind Bug404.com.

We started game development in the second half of 2011, and in that period we've published four (4) games. The studio is moving forward fast, picking up the pace, and is perhaps at it's best at the moment. The first title that was published was Tribe Hero, a "plants vs zombies" game. The game that followed was Zooro, a cute looking and funny "taxi" game. Just about the time Zooro was scheduled to it''s release, Tribe Santa was released as Christmas version of Tribe Hero. With all the knowledge gathered in that short time, we ventured into creating "Wizard of War" which got released at the start of 2012.

Bug404.com a group of developers from the Croatia led by Kresimir Petric. We produce games and applications for the IOS (iPhone / iPad / Mac), Android, PC and even Linux OS.

Be smart when you play our games!

Since we started Bug404, we encountered countless obstacles of where to find sample graphics to start from. Of course, those graphics were later replaced by our own, but the question at that point was "Where to find those?".

Due to this factor, we decided to provide all of our images, bitmaps etc to the community. They are ofcourse provided with an embedded watermark and can be used for testing, private use. If you wish to use our graphics in any other purpose, contact us and we can provide a discount or arrange some kind of package purchase.

There was a time when more and more often we hear someone mention Windows Mobile 8. This also spread through our offices, where all games and ideas are born. After lengthy discussion, research, and doubt, it was decided ... Bug404 wants to be ready for Windows Mobile 8 so we started with the creation of the first game which is more popular called "Hero Tribe." 
Interested in when, what and how? Ok ... we hope that during a month or two we can prepare the first version of the Tribe Hero therefore check Windows Marketplace regularily and of course keep an eye on Bug404.com.

While we were developing a new game engine, we had some extra free time so we expanded our views with new ideas. This gave us new possibilities and playability (at least we hoped so). As a result, we added 3 new worlds (screenshots included below) and new features such as hovering platforms, fans that change ball direction, and spikes which can cause your ball go flat and end the game.

Apart from these "small" additions, we spiced up the game even more by adding "boxed" stars which can be collected for additional scoring. Of course, in order to flawlessly complete a level, you'll need to collect all three stars.

This week has passed quickly and we didn't touch gameplay at all. We discussed a few new ideas for searching stars that we mentioned in our previous post (you know like the Angry Birds), and mostly we are busy with menus, level choosers, world choosers, animations, transitions and so forth.
Our opinion is that we are lacking animation screens, transitions after level ends and some small animations on the front screen. But in our case it will be big a huge animation :D
In the end, the main screen will be either animated or a first level will be it's background and after a few seconds main menu will appear. The animation will continue to unfold in the background, but you'll know what the method and type of game it is.
After selecting New Game button we will not bore you with different screens so we are immediately jumping to play.
Other small screens and animations we will not divulge. In the meantime, browse the images below and feel free to comment as always.
